The Kolide duo consists of two best friends, Ella Dumbrell and Steph Allen, who specialise in unique and daring content within the fields of food, lifestyle, fashion and travel. Not only do they run their highly successful lifestyle, food and travel Instagram account, but their full time gig is running a boutique social media and art direction agency, The Ardent Collective with over 30 clients. Working both client and influencer side ensures that the Kolide Team are professional, positive and committed to each and every collaboration they take on.
The team started Kolide just over 5 years ago, back when Instagram hadn’t emerged as an important platform for brand identity. We initially created the concept of Kolide with the intention of making it like Instagram, but for food and drink. This has transformed into a brand that is built upon trusted recommendations for young people around Sydney ranging from food to travel to fashion and everything in between.
Steph completed a Bachelor of Arts Law at Sydney University before foraying into the world of all things social, whilst Ella finished a PR and Marketing Degree at Charles Sturt University. Together they have an acute knowledge of all things digital including creative and art direction, photography, digital marketing, copy writing and business acumen. Sharing very different roles and outlooks, the team curate unique and innovative content that combines a strong digital and creative presence with a carefully considered business strategy.
The team at Kolide have built an impressive portfolio of work, collaborating with lifestyle clients like Auguste The Label, Oliv Swim, Tuchuzy and Mecca Cosmetica to major alcohol brands such as Minchinbury and Jacobs Creek. They have also ventured into the world of travel collaborating with luxury brands including Bannisters Pavillion, Lilianfels, Soul Of Gerringong + Villa Offerings in Bali just to name a few.
The girls are renowned for the photographic eye and are recognised for their passion, creativity and collaborative focus building meaningful relationships with each and every one of their clients.
